Fostering emotional connections that endure over time.
About Us
Studio Molina Interior Design is a full-service design studio offering ground-up new build, full-size and partial renovations, and furniture and décor services for residential and commercial spaces. Throughout each project, we offer design services from the selection of materials and fixtures, custom built-in details, layouts, furniture, fabric and accessories to create a unique and cohesive space. With a client centric approach, we are dedicated to curating spaces that resonate deeply with their inhabitants.
Studio Molina’s core belief is that thoughtful design profoundly influences how we feel within a space. Each project is rooted in a strong conceptual idea to achieve cohesive and meaningful designs. Our conceptual ideas are informed in part by the location and architecture, but are always driven by the clients lifestyle and vision.
Tapping into the powerful effect of nostalgia, our ethos is tied to an old meets new approach. While all our projects have elements of modern design and functionality, we also celebrate the timeless appeal of antiques and patina. Through our unique design approach, we aim to transcend fleeting trends and build timeless spaces that will last for years to come.
Based in Olympia, Washington, we collaborates closely with clients, architects, and builders to deliver custom projects across the U.S.

Our Clients Say
-
What is your design style? This is probably the number one question that we get asked. The short answer is that there isn't really one design style we stick to. We don't limit our design process or our clients own personal style by staying within a box. What we do love is mixing old with new, natural textures and bespoke elements.
-
How do you determine your design fees? Each and every project is different with its own set of challenges. We determine our design fees based on a flat rate, which we calculate by estimating the number of hours required to complete your project’s scope. After our initial consultation, we create a customized proposal with a detailed breakdown of the projected time and costs specific to your needs. This approach provides transparency and ensures you have a clear understanding of the investment required for your project.
-
How does the process work? The first step is to complete a contact form. Once we receive the form we will contact you to schedule a complimentary 15 minute phone call to discuss your project. If we are a good fit for each other we will move into a consultation call or in person meeting that will be charged at a flat rate. We will talk through all details of your project including budget, timeline, challenges, and goals. We will then take this information and craft our design proposal.
-
What is a typical project timeline? Each project has varying timelines that are sometimes hard to predict due to supply chain issues, permitting processes, etc. Our remodel and furniture projects are currently between 6-12 months or more. New build projects are almost always a year or more depending on your architect and general contractors scheduling. It's best to reach out for design services 6-12 months before the start of construction.
-
Do you work out of State?Yes! We offer the same services outside of Washington State and build site visits into our proposals to check in on the progress and make sure everything is going to plan.
-
How do you present design ideas?Typically we present through an in person design presentation where we review as many samples as we can and walk you through the design of your space. Included in these presentations are drawings and 3D renderings to help visualize the final design. We build revisions into the process and are always open to changes based on client feedback.
