Studio Molina's design philosophy centers around the belief that design can significantly effect the way we feel in interior spaces. This is the foundation for each of our projects as we work to build an emotional connection between spaces and those who inhabit them.
Our belief is that good design is rooted in a strong conceptual idea that connects together all elements of the space from the architectural elements, to the plumbing fixtures.

Our Clients Say
Frequently Asked Questions
What is your design style?
How do you determine your design fees?
How does the process work?
What is a typical project timeline?
Do you work out of State?
How do you present design ideas?
This is probably the number one question that we get asked. The short answer is that there isn't really one design style we stick to. We don't limit our design process or our clients own personal style by staying within a box. What we do love is mixing old with new, natural textures and bespoke elements.
Each and every project is different with its own set of challenges, so we charge based on an hourly fee. After our initial consultation, we create a customized proposal that shows an hours estimate based on your projects scope and projected hours.
The first step is to complete a contact form. Once we receive the form we will contact you to schedule a complimentary 15 minute phone call to discuss your project. If we are a good fit for each other we will move into a consultation call or in person meeting that will be charged at a flat rate. We will talk through all details of your project including budget, timeline, challenges, and goals. We will then take this information and craft our design proposal.
Each project has varying timelines that are sometimes hard to predict due to supply chain issues, permitting processes, etc. Our remodel and furniture projects are currently between 6-12 months or more. New build projects are almost always a year or more depending on your architect and general contractors scheduling. It's best to reach out for design services 6-12 months before the start of construction.
Yes! We offer the same services outside of Washington State and build site visits into our proposals to check in on the progress and make sure everything is going to plan.
Typically we present through an in person design presentation where we review as many samples as we can and walk you through the design of your space. Included in these presentations are drawings and 3D renderings to help visualize the final design. We build revisions into the process and are always open to changes based on client feedback.
